Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. I dare say that most people don't really know why, or really very much about Dr. King ... they think they do, but King's life and causes would still make most folks uncomfortable. He was not just about the "I have a dream" speech -- he was about working for a deeper kind of equality and dignity for all human beings.
In 2012 when economic inequality in the United States has reached levels not seen since before the Great Depression, the words and activities of Martin Luther King have renewed significance.
These videos present historical context and a meaningful synopsis of King's views and his enduring struggle.
