Earthside Comments: This is what 2,237 U.S. troops got killed for? For Bush's lies about weapons of mass destruction, for Bush's lies about an Iraq-al Qaida connection, for massive corruption and waste of taxpayer's dollars, and for the rise of an Iranian-allied government in Baghdad?
Should even one more soldier die in Iraq for those things? Should even one more Iraqi die because of the chaos and violence George W. Bush and Dick "Chickenhawk" Cheney brought upon that poor country?

American officials in charge of reconstruction spending in Iraq kept millions of dollars in cash in their bathroom lockers and filing cabinets, according to the latest audit of financial practices in the country. One officer went to the Phillipines and gambled away thousands of dollars of tax payer's money on a junket with the Iraqi Olympic Team. Incidents of waste, unregulated spending and contracts that went nowhere fill a 48-page audit released yesterday by the US Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction (SIGIR), the watchdog appointed to oversee the $18.4 billion allocated to the Iraq's Coalition Provisional Authority to rebuild the country. More than 2,000 contracts with a total value of $88.1 million, were examined by the report. Many of the projects lacked documentation, any evidence of a competitive bidding and were not followed up to see if they were completed.

The US occupation and political meddling has left Iraq in a chaotic deadlock, a leading analyst says. Haroun Muhamad, an Iraqi political analyst, says inept and inexperienced leaders have locked Iraq into a political crisis. "The US occupation has created an incurable situation in Iraq, by letting unqualified and sectarian politicians rise to power," he told Aljazeera.net. "With the current amount of unqualified statesmen in Iraq, it is very difficult even for the US to rectify the situation and bring to the limelight some responsible officials."

I am writing this from Qatar, a tiny peninsula jutting into the Persian Gulf and a good vantage point for observing the turbulent events in the Middle East. And every observer I have spoken to here agrees on one thing - the big winner of George W Bush's war on Iraq is none other than America's arch-enemy, Iran. ... By a quirk of geology, most of Iraq's oil deposits are in provinces dominated by its Shi'ite and Kurdish populations. That will strengthen Iran's ability to squeeze the West, particularly the US, whenever it pleases. Its new hardline president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, knows this. He wants a nuclear bomb because that will enhance his country's political muscle still further and make it militarily untouchable. The US, the rest of the West and the UN Security Council will huff and puff but there is little they can do.

Iranian Incurable Situation
About Iranian Nuclear Program and The Concept Of The Other
By Roozbeh Gillasian
Half century ago what was an important event in public sphere of Iran was The problem of oil and attempts, the real attempts, for nationalization of the oil industry by a national personality such as Dr .M. Mossaddegh. And today what is the acute problem of Iranians and world wide is The problem of Atomic Energy. These are such different that maybe it better that give up the comparing these with other, and how can we compare a real thing with a virtual? Despite of their devilish similarities what is specially antidote of our present history is attention to this initial difference: The difference between The real and The virtual, between existing and non-existing.
Those days the fight was over oil, that oil that exists, and today it is over that energy that does not exist. Those days Iranian tablecloth gave out oil scent and today Iranian’s life gives out atomic scent. This scent such as love or hate is not real but is virtual, tell it exists then it exists. Those days the dominant literature is not such cryptic and adventure was explicit. The multi advantage was not under consideration. It is not sorrow for lost last times, but it is branding the present history by those things that seat themselves, in a inverse way, in the place of truth or true reality. Today each words are such as pure politicians. The political game in writing resolutions is consumed in producing such reality, you can read it hyperreality, by arranging the words.
In recent condition what is non-existing is exactly the same thing that has competence to attention: nuclear energy that is non-existing. And what is existing, is something that willy-nilly is existing, and then it is not necessary to do something against it!
It adds fuel to make more and more mysterious this era. As if once again we return in a world of gods and non-existing specters. In this world the winner is who that has more strong power of imagination. And can tell more real fictions.
New president of Iran was intended to tell such fiction, in his speech in United Nations Organization, when he talked about God ,his prophet and the Promised Imam, that will come and break through oppression lines. By such endeavour it is Bush that talk about finding the nuclear weapons in Iraq, and to fallow every non-existing thing in every non-where he makes mythopoeia about Iranian nuclear weapons program. These talks are not false at all, not because of this reason that their claims have taken place or will take place, but only in this sense that the only way of realizing and producing something as truth is not referring to what is existing but is imagination of non-existing to produce it’s existence. The imagination of non-existing, in political sphere, is true falsely condition of our era.
In recent order of world, without any persisting on calling it recent or order, we are encounter to ordering of scenario that its performance is according to a lost scenario, a live play in real time. The only way to set off reality of a spectacle is forcing the real people to play and even death or sacrifice of real people.
However, in this article I do not intend to engage in Iranian nuclear scenario in this aspect that when and where it has been written or how it could become a problem. Even I do not concern with attractive or regrettable play of some of actors. This scenario is not a real scenario and we have not to encounter it in normal way, although it persists on normal gesture. However, I concern with spectators that are viewer of this play, certainly not all of them but the Iranian spectators. Certainly, there is not a pure spectator, here screen is expanded and there is not fourth wall. The object of view is subject too. Who is burnt can burn the other too… I will return to this essentially inverse role. But my main supposition in this article is:
The result of such game, between Iran and it’s opposite front, has been what ever, it has not any different for Iranians, not because of this reason that the condition of their play in every case do not differ, but because of this that at any rate the Iranian spectators will be incurable.
The ruling class of Iran will continue clandestine nuclear program, but if it attain to nuclear weapons it is not a threat for world but it’s a real treat for Iranians and the human rights in Iran. The ruling class of Iran will not use these weapons for attack to any other country but you do not doubt that it will use these in Iran by all means!! It concerns with protection of itself, more of every thing, and it is reason of that atom bomb has not any national aspect. The national is annihilated in The nuclear. After of probability guarantee of its geographic position then the government finds an opportunity to bloody internal settlement by opposers, for carrying out of divine decrees.
The second branch is that the diplomatic bargains have not an ultimate result, and the government of Iran does not surrender itself under pressures from the United States and its allies, and it causes that the opposite front of Iran fires under the name of preventive attack, in a way that ultimately makes Iran a new Iraq.
Out of these two ways there is a third way too. In this way arguments and proceedings will continue indolently, boringly and formality. If so then Iran will sell by action itself between China, Russia and other suppositional allies. The market of Iran will be full of Chinese goods and Iranian workers and Iranian factories will be closed. Thus accordingly the scene changes to a new décor for the sensational scenario.
We are in this corridor in waiting for the miracle to come. It is our situation; we are in any rate incurable. But it does not compel The other to sympathize with us because The other in present history produces as an antagonistic case. This that there is not a pre determinate scenario for condemning Iran, it’s not our optimism, but it is the peak of our pessimistic. It means that there is not a knowledgeable scenario and it cause various probabilities keep themselves in possibility forever. It is horror and agitation, of exciter extempore play on live and death. Because of indefinable and indeterminate roles, The other exactly can be replaced in my position. The terrorist can be victim. It is the same fear of sudden explosion of a bomb in Iraq or in London. In this era, The other is not an excuse to produce an ethical relations, but in contrary it is an excuse to produce an antagonistic relations. Being in position of The other is being in position of an explosion. And it is not the provider of sympathizing with The other at all, but it is advertency putting The other in that position that essentially could be reversed toward us. This is the problem of our world and its solution is not in another where, certainly it’s not in Iran.

I am so ashamed that I wasted my vote vot on george warmonger bush. What could I have been thinking? Why did I let my neoconservative, republican, neoevangelical religious right wing extremest views get in the way of exercising sound personal judegement when I went into that voting booth. In retrospect, I'm ashamed of our president and ashamed of most republicans. Clinton lies about an indescretion with a whitehouse intern and the religious right wing thinks our nation is going to hell in a handbasket. Bush lies everytime his mouth opens which as resulted in a lot of unnecessary deaths, waste of tax payer money on illegal military efforts, fleecing the middle and lower classes to support his so called tax cuts which realy only benefit the rich and the religious right wing of this nation hypocritically justify it all. I'll never make the mastake of voting republican again. Thanks for all the memories GOP.
