The Absurdity of It All

As we write this at 11:16 A.M. Mountain Daylight Time, Tuesday, May 26, 2009, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is up over 200 points.

Why?

According to the gamblers and speculators on Wall Street it is because in a survey more Americans are ... FEELING better about the future.

No new jobs have been created since last Friday; no new innovative fuel efficient cars are rolling off the assembly lines in Detroit; no new boom in housing construction has been reported; nothing has changed except ...

Feelings.

The absurdity of it all ... is just amazing.
